Justine Duplantis					[Photo]

Justine Blanchard Duplantis, 88, a native of Theriot and resident of Chauvin, 
died July 20, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

She is survived by her daughters, Genevieve Chauvin and Janice Peltier; sister 
and brother-in-law, Margaret and Evans Bergeron; grandchildren and their 
spouses, Louis and Mark Lapeyrouse, Chris and Joann Chauvin, Everett and 
Michelle Chauvin, Patrick and Carrie Peltier, Nathan and Nadine Peltier and 
Colleen and Kevin Rousse; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; 
and three step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene' T. Duplantis; parents, Abele and 
Eulicia Blanchard; son-in-law, Curman Chauvin; brothers, Clifford Blanchard and 
John Charles; sisters, Felicia Rodrigue, Jeanne Rhodes, Annie Bergeron and 
Judith Dupre.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was loved by many.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society and resident of The 
Oaks.

She enjoyed going to the camp and fishing with her husband and family.
