Laura "Chubby" Sapia, 46, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 5:22 p.m. 
July 23, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Samart 
Funeral Home in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 
a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery in 
Raceland.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Sapia; parents, Lois Terrebonne Vizier; 
daughters, Jenny and Janis Sapia; sisters, Nina Vizier Bernard, Susan Vizier 
Robichaux, Theresa Vizier Larmeu and Yvonne Vizier Melvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rhenhart Lou Vizier; brother, Darwin 
Michael Vizier.

Her hobbies were computer repair, reading and crafts.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
