Laura Seely						[Photo]

Laura Bourgeois Seely, 99, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, died at 6 
a.m. July 25, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home 
chapel, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, S.J. "Pete" Selly of Houma; daughter, Myra Seely 
McDaniels of Conway, Ark.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney J. Seely Sr.; parents, Francois 
and Nan Bourgeois grandson, Daniel Bruce Seely; great-grandsons, Christopher 
Seely and Joey McDaniels; brothers, Charles, Raymond, Wilson and Mack Bourgeois; 
sisters, Odette Theriot, Sister Usie, Lucille Boudreaux and Mathilde Bourgeois.

She was a homemaker.

She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
