Leonard Cooks Jr.					[Photo]

Leonard Cooks Jr., 60, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 2:25 p.m. 
July 3, 2005.

Visitation will be 7:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at Moses Baptist Church, 1039 Canal 
Blvd., Thibodaux. A dismissal service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Kendra Cooks, brother, Samuel Cooks; and sister, 
Mary Cooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Sr. and Alberta Deboue Cooks; 
brother, Joseph Cooks Sr.; and sisters, Leona Robertson and Bernice Cooks.

He worked for 30 years at Northrop Grumman Shipyard, formerly Avondale Shipyard.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
