Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Sue Manning of Thibodaux, Randy and Tena Manning of Houma; daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey M. and Jerry Morrison of Houston; Cindy M. and Mark "Snoop" Bonvillain of Houma; brother, James "Snooky" Manning of Houston; grandchildren, Joshua, Sunny, Carrie, Shanne Manning, Mitchell and Marcelle Morrison, Reed and Amy Bonvillain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie Amy Breaux Manning; parents, Buck and Carrie Guerrant Manning; and brother, Glen Manning. He was part own of Seismic Experts Group and Manor Exploration. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean war. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
