Michael Oubre

Michael Amelise Oubre, 54, a native and resident of Vacherie, died July 16, 
2005.

Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church 
in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, with rosary at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Marie Oubre; daughter, Kimatakaya Joseph; 
granddaughter, Lyric Miller; sister, Catherine O. Pedescleaux; brothers, Freddie 
Jr. and Raymond Oubre; four stepchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and one step-
great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Sr. and Pauline Philip Oubre.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
