Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at Holy Rosary Mausoleum. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Vanzura of Austin, Texas; three stepdaughters, all of Kansas; four stepsons, all of Kansas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Madere; first husband, John K. Murphey of New Mexico; parents, Henry and Aurelia Boudreaux Blanchard; daughter, Mary Ellen Murphey and Kathleen Kling; brother, Lawrence "Toblanc" Blanchard of Napoleonville; sisters and brothers-in-law Ethel and Ernest Landry of Baton Rouge and Florence and Paul Collins of Houma.
