Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Anelie B. and Ray LeBouef, Myrtle B. and Hartwell Aucoin; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette H. and Howard Breaux; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Australia Joseph Babin; parents, Pierre and Ida Hebert; son, Robert Vincent "R.V." Babin; brothers, Andrew, Octave, Bruce, Druby and Wilbert Hebert; sisters, Hazel Eschete and Bernice Lirette. She was a life member of the Holy Rosary Altar Society. Her hobbies were gardening, baking and crocheting. She was a devoted wife and mother. Donations to the Holy Rosary Altar Society are preferred. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
