Robert Gautreaux					[Photo]

Robert J. Gautreaux, 78, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:55 a.m. July 
24, 2005.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in 
Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. today at the 
church, with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his wife, Della B. Gautreaux; son, Bobby John Gautreaux; 
daughter, Marla Anne Gautreaux Crochet; brothers, Roland, Camille, Reuben, 
Golden Jr. and Hayes Gautreaux; sister, Frances Gautreaux Authement; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Golden "Chuck" and Rosadell Chaisson 
Gautreaux; brothers, Simon, Howard, Michael and Murphy Gautreaux.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired from Shell Oil after 
32 years of service.

He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
