Ronald Marcel						[Photo]

Ronald Joseph Marcel, 73, a native of New Orleans and resident of Chacahoula, 
died at 1:25 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2005.

Visitation was held Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 to 10 
a.m. today at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula. A Mass of Christian 
burial was celebrated today at the church, with burial following at the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by sons Cody, Wayne Scott, Shane, Arty and Troy Marcel; daughters 
Cristal Lupo and Rose M. Bourg; brothers Carl and Wayne Marcel; sisters Sylvia 
Matherne, Barbara Sullivan and Lydia Calvin; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lecompte Marcel; parents, Lee P. 
Marcel Sr. and Genevieve Berthelot Marcel; brother Lee Marcel Jr.; and sisters 
Brenda Robichaux and Marilyn Falgout.

He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Homes of Houma are in charge of arrangements.
