Ruby Bishop

Ruby Truxillo Bishop, 66, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 7:32 a.m. 
July 22, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Nativity Church in 
Raceland. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial at the church mausoleum.

She is survived by her sons, Horace Thomas Bishop, Bobby Bishop, Billy Bishop, 
Jeffrey Bishop, Michael Bishop and his fiancée, Kellie Bourgeois; daughters, Kim 
Detillier and Mitzi Parks; brothers, Surgeon Truxillo and Herbert Truxillo Jr.; 
sister, Lois Kilgore; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Bishop; parents, Herbert Sr. 
and Vivian St. Pierre Truxillo; brothers, Dudley and Jerry Truxillo.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
