Allen Faves

Allen "Captain Allen" Joseph Faves, 72, a native of Raceland and resident of 
Houma, died July 29, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A 
religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Lodrigue Faves; daughters Melanie Stokes, Mary 
Alice Steven and Jennifer Faves; stepson Sammy Lodrigue; stepdaughters Cheryl, 
Lisa and Germaine Ainsworth; brother Jimmy Farve; sister Helen Farve; nine 
grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alida Part Farve; brothers 
Percy, Willie, Johnny, Randolph and Joseph Farve; sisters Marie, Louise, Genieve 
and Pearl Farve; and stepsister Juliette.

He was Catholic.

Donations to Samart Funeral Home for funeral expenses are preferred.
