Bella Authement

Bella Pellegrin Authement, 78, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 6:39 
p.m. Aug. 4, 2005.

Visitation will be 3 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the 
Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with 
burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.

She is survived by her daughter Myra Authement Landry; sons Timmy, Tommy and 
Magnel "Tony" Authement; brothers David Sr., Usy "U. J.," Eugene "Skip" and 
Daniel "Butch" Pellegrin; sister Barbara Carlos; six grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Magnel J. Authement; parents, Usy and 
Linda Theriot Pellegrin; and brother Donald Pellegrin.

She was a 1944 graduate of Terrebonne High School and 1945 graduate of Spencer 
Business College.

She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, a 
member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V. F. W. Post 9608, American Legion Ladies 
Auxiliary Unit 380, the Ladies Altar Society and ODACA ó the Original Doll 
Artist Council of America.

She was a doll artist and homemaker.

70360, 876-0163, (866) 266-0163, are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Bella Pellegrin Authement, 78, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 6:39 
p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at the Knights of Columbus 
Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church 
in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Myra Authement Landry and husband, Lester; 
three sons, Timmy Authement and wife, Alice, Tommy Authement and wife, Annette, 
and Magnel "Tony" Authement and wife, Virginia; four brothers, David Pellegrin 
Sr., Usy "U.J." Pellegrin, Eugene "Skip" Pellegrin and Daniel "Butch" Pellegrin; 
one sister, Barbara Carlos; six grandchildren, Tricia Freeman, Prentiss "Boo" 
Freeman and wife, Katherine, Timmy Authement Jr., Jenna Authement, Louis 
Authement and Emily Authement; and one great-grandchild, Asa Magnel Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Magnel J. Authement; her parents, Usy 
Pellegrin and Linda Theriot Pellegrin; and one brother, Donald Pellegrin.

She was a 1944 graduate of Terrebonne High School and a 1945 graduate of Spencer 
Business College.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 9608, the American Legion 
Ladies Auxiliary Unit No. 380, Alter Society, ODACA "Original Doll Artist
