Berlien Lagarde

Berlien Grabert Lagarde, 68, a native of Raceland, longtime resident of 
Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Joey and Tammy Ledet Lagarde of 
Thibodaux, Frank and Darlene Brien Lagarde of Dulac and Gary and Larry Lagarde 
of Mathews; daughters and sons-in-law Frances L. and Judge David W. Arceneaux of 
Houma, Dawn L. and David Clause of Schriever; grandchildren Tiffany, Brittany, 
Heather, Karen, Jenny, Leslie, Julie and Brent Lagarde, Katie, Matt and Jeff 
Arceneaux, Zoe, Cloe Duet, Angelina Pellegrin, Lashanda and Andrew Bergeron; 
brother Norris J. Grabert Jr. of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Lagarde of Thibodaux; and 
parents, Norris J. and Vivian Truxillo Grabert of Raceland.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Houma.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
