Cestive Dufrene					[Photo]

Cestive "Shoe-Me" Pierre Dufrene, 86, a native of Gheens and resident of Cut 
Off, died at 4:40 a.m. Aug. 7, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Emelda Adams Dufrene; sons Weldon, Terry and Tommy 
Dufrene; daughter Diane Dufrene Loupe; sisters Melodia D. Dufrene and Angela D. 
Hebert; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemille and Sophie Rivet Dufrene; 
brothers Whitney, Louis and Evans Dufrene; and sister Lucille D. Hebert.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
