Claude Webre

Claude "Pappy" Webre, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 7:28 p.m. 
Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. 
to funeral time Monday at St. Charles of Borromeo. Mass will be at 10 a.m. 
Monday at the church, with the burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Monstermon Webre; two daughters, Gwen Webre 
and Julie Chiasson; one brother, Louis "Billy" Webre; five grandchildren; and 
eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Webre and Agnes Fremin Webre; 
one brother, Perry Webre; and four sisters, Emelda Buccanarra, Clothilde 
Gaubert, Shirley McCreary and Rose Papa.
