Clincy Pontiff

Clincy Claude Pontiff, 84, a native of Thibodaux, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Jacob Schoen and Sons Funeral Home 
in New Orleans. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with 
burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife, Lilly Generos Pontiff; two sons, Bruce and Court; 
two daughters, Phyllis Coomer and Anita Pontiff; seven grandchildren; and seven 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvance and Marie Aucoin Pontiff.

He was an honored D-Day World War II veteran and retired Stevedore Member ILA 
3000.
