Doris Ledet						[Photo]

Doris Marie Ledet, 81, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
at 2:52 p.m. Aug. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home and 8 to 10 a.m. 
Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church 
mausoleum.

She is survived by her sons Leland Jr., Dane and Keith Ledet; daughters Wanda 
Gaudry, Lisa Ledet and Melinda Ledet; brother Tesmun Prestenbach Jr.; 11 
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Joseph Ledet Sr.; parents, 
Tesmun Sr. and Eva LeBouef Prestenbach; and brothers Floyd and Earl Prestenbach.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Association for 42 years. She was a 
Eucharistic minister at St. Bernadette. She was a seamstress, childcare provider 
and secretary for the local carpenters' union. She will be deeply missed by many 
who love her.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
