Gerald Moore						[Photo]

Gerald J. Moore, 60, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Queens, New York, 
died at 5:45 a.m. Aug. 3, 2005.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Baptist Church 
at Lafourche Crossing, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter Teira Moore of New York City; brothers Joseph 
Moore, Louis Moore Sr. and Leroy Moore, all of Thibodaux, John Moore Jr. and 
Lionel Moore, both of New Orleans, and Micheal Moore of Jackson, Miss., sister 
Joyce Moore of Solomon, N.Y., Betty Perry and Mary Moore, both of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Moore Sr. and Ellen Hampton 
Moore; and sisters Ella Mae Ellis, Helen Ellis and Pearl Lee.

He was a Baptist. He was retired after 30 years at the Morgan Station Postal 
Service in Manhattan.
