The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ August 17. 2005 3:13PM Herbert Allemand [Photo] Herbert Joseph Allemand, 75, a native of Lockport and resident of Houma, died at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 15, 2005. Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home chapel in Houma and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 mausoleum. He is survived by his son Timothy Allemand; brothers Euma, Norman, Edwin and Ray Allemand; sister Noelie Charpentier; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Lee Daigle Allemand; parents, Anidas Sr. and Valerie LeBlanc Allemand; brothers Roland Sr., Anidas Jr. and Norris Allemand; sisters Lilly Cunningham and Lorraine Bousegard. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
