Herbert Ford

Herbert J. Ford, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 6:10 p.m. Aug. 
18, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Ollie Adams Ford; son Herbert J. Ford Jr.; daughter 
Julia F. Clement; brothers Richard and Luke Ford; two grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Julia Kramer Ford; brothers 
Wilbert and Harold Ford; and sister Anna Mae Verrett.

His hobby was bowling. He was a retired carpenter.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
