Lawrence Cotton					[Photo]

Lawrence Cotton, 75, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16, 
2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Samart Funeral 
Home in Bayou Blue, with burial at Grand Caillou Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Verdin Cotton; sons Lawrence, Dennis, 
Larry, David and Daniel Cotton; daughters Dianna Cotton, Patricia Cotton, 
Virginia Billiot and Jean Graham; brothers Delvin and Easton Cotton; sisters 
Lydia Poincot, Florence Crochet and Elvina Matherne; 16 grandchildren; and eight 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lovenia Lodrigue Cotton; 
grandson Paul Junius Pierre Jr.; and brother Sidney Rodrigue.

He had many close family friends who completed the family circle.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
