The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ August 05. 2005 12:00AM Louis Dugas Sr. Louis "T-Lay" Dugas Sr., 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1:20 p.m. Aug. 4, 2005. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Doris Thibodaux Dugas; son Louis Dugas Jr.; daughter Linda D. Landry; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Agatha Lucile Price Dugas; daughters Judy and Jackie Dugas; brothers Edward, Hubert and Paul Dugas; half- brother Horace Zeringue; and half-sisters Gertie Folse and Lillian Z. Thibodaux. He was a member of Home, Hook and Ladder Fire Co., the V. F. W., American Legion, and Forty & Eight. He was a World War II veteran and a retired employee of Magnolia Liquor Co. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed his family and friends. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
