Medward Allemand

Medward "Pemon" Allemand, 76, a native and resident of Chackbay, died at 10:58 
p.m. Aug. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Babin Allemand; brothers Roland and 
Hayward Allemand; sisters Delta Tabor, Esther Trosclair, Hazel Duet and Mary 
Benoit; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Marie Martin Allemand; 
brother Clifton Allemand; and sisters Sadie Ledet and Hilda Allemand.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Avondale after 20 years.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
