Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday, with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. She is survived by sons Harold Hebert Sr., Skelly Hebert Sr., Bertoud Hebert Jr. and Bruce Hebert; daughters Evelyn Plaisance of Lafitte, Vina Mae Brunet and Carrie Ables; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertoud "Bert" Hebert Sr.; parents, Victoria Toups and Bennett Gisclair; grandson Harold Hebert Jr.; one great- granddaughter and one great-grandson; daughter Carey Eve Hebert; brothers Emetian, Sam, Policar, Isaac, Octave, Calad, August and Bennett Gisclair Jr.; and sisters Octavie Cheramie, Victoria Encalade, Roseline Ingulia and Azelie Gisclair. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Her hobbies were cooking and gardening. Falgout Funeral homes is in charge of the arrangements.
