Visitation will be held from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at the church, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by sons Francis and wife, Mary Jane Talbot, Lloyd and wife, Geraldine Talbot, Michael and wife, Eleanor Talbot, Bruce and wife, Edith Talbot, David and wife, Wanda Talbot, Byron and wife, Jan Talbot, and Daryl and wife, Donna Talbot; daughter Janice and husband, David Zeringue; sister Edith Mongrue; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deoma R. Talbot; parents, Desire and Amelia Guidry Babin; brothers Willie, Eddie, Leo, Ferdinand, Blaise and Harold Babin; sister Louise Hebert; and great-grandchild Desire Talbot. She was a retired nurse from Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, where she touched many lives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the future children's museum in Thibodaux. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
