Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his son Leo F. Caballero Jr.; daughter Marion C. Rhodes; brothers Claude and George Cavalier Jr.; sisters Adeline Landry, Eva C. Dugas, Rose C. Perkins, Brenda C. Raffery and Mary C. Scully; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Kern Caballero; parents George and Lucille Templet Caballero; and brother Gary Cavalier. He was chief of police for 30 years in Napoleonville. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
