Edmund Allen

Edmund Rohn Allen, 74, a native of Trenton, N.J., and resident of Houma, died at 
5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005.

Religious services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Hope World Outreach 
Center on Coteau Road in Houma.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Daniel Allen; sons David B. Allen, Craig D. 
Allen and Todd S. Allen; daughter Diane Allen Miller; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund Firth Allen and Martha Rohn 
Allen Holt.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed gun collecting and 
woodworking.

He was a general contractor in the Lake Charles area and a pilot for Zapata-
Haynie Corp.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
