Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson Grove Church of Chirst in Brookhaven, Miss., A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his son Wayne Walker of Brookhaven; daughters Joyce Trahan Alessi of Houma and Brenda Halvorsen of Santa Fe, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Smith Walker; parents, Adolph and Ema Robinson Walker; brothers Sheman Adkins and Sherrell Walker; and sister Faye Morgan. He was a retired electrician for Exxon Pipeline. He was a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. He was a World War II veteran. Harrigill Funeral Home of Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.
