Herd Bartley						[Photo]

Herd Joseph Bartley, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Sept. 9, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in 
Thibodaux. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery at Lafourche Crossing.

He is survived by his daughter Erin Goudy of Thibodaux; sister Gustavia Vergin 
of Thibodaux; and brothers Leroy Joseph Bartley, and Warren Charles Bartley of 
Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Heard Charles Bartley; 
brother, Mark Charles Bartley; grandparents Louisa and Charles Bartley, and 
Louvenia Triggs and Lawrence Allen.

He was Baptist. His hobbies included cooking, fishing, and working on cars.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
