Irvin Verdin

Irvin "Joe" Verdin, 71, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died 
Sept. 10, 2005.

A graveside service was held at noon today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Golden Meadow.

He is survived by his wife, Betty White; brothers Adam, Wilson, Edward, Octave, 
Lawrence Jr., Willis and Michael Verdin; sister Elozia Gisclair.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Felecia Billiot 
Verdin; brothers Alphonse and Paul Verdin; and sister Marie Verdin Farbe.

He enjoyed carving and trapping.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
