Lena Lawrence

Lena Williams Lawrence, 95, a native of Assumption Parish and resident of 
Thibodaux, died at 9:12 p.m. Sept. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church 
in Labadieville. A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her devoted great-niece Delores Henderson of Thibodaux; and 
devoted great-nephew, Harry Henderson Jr., of Thibodaux; cousins, Josephine and 
Jessie Mae Williams of Thibodaux, and a host of other nieces, nephews, great 
nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lawrence; and parents, Bulah 
and Robert Williams.

She was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church. She was the former Usher 
Ministry President. Her hobbies included Baking and entertaining Children.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
