Mable Santiny

Mable L. Santiny, 77, a native of Crown Point and resident of Grand Isle, died 
at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 31, 2005.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Our Lady of the Isle 
Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Clifford Santiny Jr. and Chris Santiny; brothers 
Joseph LaFont III, Ernest LaFont and Clifford LaFont; four grandchildren; and 
five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Santiny Sr.; parents, Joseph 
and Selina Crosby LaFont; daughters Veronica Ouates and Linda Santiny; brothers 
Jerry and Kilben LaFont; and sisters Lorita Stanick, Agnetha Soderstrum and Cleo 
LaFont.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church and enjoyed 
reading.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
