Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m.. Saturday at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Thibodaux. A religious service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his daughters LaShunda R. Tardieff, Nadira M. Tardieff, and Oprah T. Tardieff of Thibodaux and Camille Tardieff of Westwego; sons Marcus Johnell Tardief Jr., of New Orleans,and Tyrone Elliot Tardieff of Thibodaux; sister Regenia Brown of Gray; brothers Clifford Tardieff and Freddie Tardieff of Thibodaux; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Louise Gasery Tardieff; parents Joseph and Harriett Scott Tardieff; son Terrance Tardieff; brothers Walter Tardieff Sr. and Joseph Tardieff Jr.; sister Phyllis Hawkins; grandparents, Evangeline Phillips, and Henrietta and Mack Scott. He was Methodist. He was also a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a former member of American Legion Post No. 513 of Thibodaux. His hobby included watching football games. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
