Mary Cooks

Mary L. Cooks, 60, a native and resident of Labadieville, died Sept. 14, 2005.

A religious service took place at 11 a.m. today at St. Mark Baptist Church in 
Labadieville. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Carril Cooks; sons, Romel, Harold and Carril 
Cooks Jr.; father, Adam Meade Sr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leola Meade; sisters, Viola Harris, 
Thelma Brown and Mildred Bennette; and a brother, Adam Meade Jr.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville was in charge of 
arrangements.
