Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her sons David G., Mark J., Rene' A., Michael D. and Shawn J. Richard; daughters Monique R. Omer and Maria R. Benoit; brother Charles P. "Chuck" Junot; sister Bettie Junot Weber; daughters-in-law, Suzi Leese Richard, Jackie Hymel Richard, Stephanie Rodrigue Richard, Lisa Richard Richard and Daisy Vining Richard; son-in-law Troy D. Benoit; grandchildren Gabrielle, Seth and Rebekah Richard, Michelle, Aimee' and Alyson Richard, Jonathan Omer, Andrew, Philip and Jacob Richard, Natalie, Even and Connor Richard, Mary-Claire and Emma Benoit and August Richard. She was precede in death by her husband, Marvin, Marcelle Richard; parents, Philip Earl and Clothilde Mire Junot; brothers Philip W. "Buster" Junot and Gerard K. "Jerry" Junot. She was a homemaker, former board member of St. Joseph Catholic Elementary and former officer of the E.D. White Catholic High Mother's Club, former officer of Entre' Nous and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial donations to E.D. White Catholic High, St. Genevieve Elementary or St. Joseph Elementary Schools are preferred. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
