In the days following huricane Katrina a joint Courier/Daily Comet newspaper was 
published using the Comet presses while the New Orleans Times Picayune  was 
published from the Courier presses.

Mildred Aysenne

   Mildred B. Aysenne, 85, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died Monday, 
August 29, 2005.

   Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday (3 Sep 2005) at St. 
Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

  She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Aysenne; three sons, Percy, Charles 
and Tommie Aysenne; one daughter, Mabel Rougeau; one sister, Elma LeBlanc; nine 
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide Boudreaux and Victoria 
Blanchard Boudreaux; one daughter, Joyce Richard; one brother, Clifton 
Boudreaux; and one grandchild.
