Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her son Nelson A. Durio and his wife, Jane Walker Durio, of Plaisance; daughter Ethel Jane Durio of Raceland; brother Ebdon Adams Sr. of Westwego; sisters Vida Toups, Bertha Walker and Augusta Cheramie, all of Galliano, Vada Singletary of Jasper, Texas; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Durio; parents, Lezie and Alice Guidry Adams; brothers Oliver Sr. and Theo Adams; and sisters Stella Adams Terrebonne and Cherita Adams Dandry. She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church and a member of the Counsel of Catholic Women. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening. Samart Funeral Home & Crematorium of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
