Sheila Sampey

Sheila Toups Sampey, 60, a native and resident of Gheens, died at 7:30 a.m. 
Sept. 27, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. Thursday to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic 
Church in Gheens. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Norris Sampey Jr.; daughters, Lisa Plaisance and 
husband, Joey Plaisance Sr., Bonnie Dominique and husband, Lonnie Dominique, 
Angela Sampey and husband, Corey Dufrene, and Callie Sampey and husband, Terry 
Cheramie; grandchildren, Megan and Joey Plaisance Jr., Lauren and Brett 
Dominique, Reba, Rebecca and Hilary Yates, Tyler Dufrene and Erin and Myka 
Cheramie; brothers, Donovan, Cleary, Tommy, Kearney, twin brother Dale, Lindel, 
Dean, Reed, Randy, Sandy and Lane Toups; and sisters, Dolores Foreman, Brenda Martinez, Connie Matherne and Cathy Durio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bess Dufrene Toups; 
brother, Alvin Toups; and sisters, Lois Walker and Wanda Toups.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony and was a member of the St. Anthony Ladies 
Altar Society. She was employed by Wal-Mart for 13 years.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
