Sylvester Peltier Jr.

Sylvester P. Peltier Jr., 58, a native of Thibodaux and resident of San Antonio, 
Texas, died at 2 p.m. Sept. 21, 2005 at Methodist Hospital.

Visitation will be held Thursday at Lewis Funeral Home in San Antonio. A funeral 
service will be held at noon Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Fort Sam 
Houston Memorial Cemetery, Fort Sam Houston Military Installation.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon White Peltier of San Antonio; mother, Elouise 
Rhodes Peltier of Thibodaux; sons Kevin Paul Peltier of Tacoma, Wash., and 
Anthony Lawrence Peltier of San Antonio; daughter Monica Marie Peltier of San 
Antonio; stepdaughters Gail Jackson and Terri Collins, both of San Antonio; 
brothers Gary Peltier of Thibodaux, Ronnie Peltier of Kearns, Utah, Claude 
Peltier of Arlington, Texas and Donald Peltier of Lafayette; sisters Victoria 
Jones of Thibodaux, Elaine Walker of Gray, Rita Bolt of Thibodaux and Shaun 
Breaux of Arlington, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Paul Peltier Sr.; sisters 
Yolanda and Jacqueline Peltier; grandparents Maggie and Madison Rhodes, Raymond 
Peltier, Evalena Harris.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Lewis Funeral Home of San Antonio is in charge of arrangements.
