The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ September 26. 2005 3:18PM Thelma Ducre' Thelma Hadley Ducre', 76, a native of Raceland and resident of New Orleans, died at 10:44 a.m. Sept. 19, 2005, in Crowley. A religious service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland, with burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters Gilda M. Johnson, Paulette E. Fredrick, Joscelyn A. Johnson, Jennifer D. Parker and Katina D. Parker; sons Jeffrey Samuel Ducre' and Donald Joseph Johnson; She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ducre'; parents, Henderson Sr. and Elisha Hadley; brothers Henderson Hadley Jr., and Jackson Hadley; and sister Virginia H. Dorsey. She was a member of First Mount Calvary Baptist Church of New Orleans, and served on the usher and deaconess boards. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
