Viola North

Viola Holmann North, 82, a native of Fredericksburg, Texas, and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Sept. 24, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux. A memorial prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the 
church, with burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters Beverly Austin and Janet Maki.

She was preceded in death by her husband James North; son Bradley Buroker; and 
brother, Victor Holmann.

She was a U.S. Navy nurse during World War II.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
