Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Life Center. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the Life Center, with burial following at the church cemetery. She is survived by sons Wilkinson Joseph Babin Jr. and Rcihard Joseph Babin; daughter Patricia Babin Caillouet; brother Fred Hebert Sr.; sisters Louise H. Stroub Boyston and Elsie H. Molaison; grandchildren Monique B. Clement, Andre G. Babin, Renee B. Ordoyne, Jacques F. Babin, Chad J. Caillouet, Chanda C. Schneider, April B. Arceneaux and Ryan P. Babin; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkinson Joseph Babin Sr.; parents, Dennis Arthur Hebert and Juliette Soignet Hebert; brothers Paul Hebert Sr., O'Neil Hebert Sr., Gilbert Hebert and Dennis Hebert; and sisters Gertrude H. Landry Thibodaux, Mabel H. Percle Louquette, Adriel H. Bourgeois. She was a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Martha's Ministries, St. Joseph Lenten Gumbo Crew and St. Joseph Bulletin Crew. She volunteered at area nursing homes and took part in church activities. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
