Bobby Ray Higginbotham, 56, a native of DeRidder and resident of Des Allemands, 
died at 10:17 p.m. Oct. 22, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland.

He will be cremated.

He is survived by his stepsons Michael and Jason Burton; daughter Valerie 
Higginbotham Bourgeois; stepdaughters Debra Perett, Paula Hymel, Dara 
Higginbotham and Heather Higginbotham; sisters Joan Snapp and Mary Ruth 
Higginbotham; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Bessie Watson Higginbotham; 
and brother Jerry Dan Higginbotham.

Samart Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
