Chris "Thunder Bolt" Thomas Griffin, 47, a native and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005.

Funeral services were held at Chauvin's Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of 
Memories Cemetery.

He is survived by his companion, Bambi LeBoeuf of Houma; his parents, J.C. 
Griffin and Margaret Pitre Griffin of Houma; four daughters, Molly Griffin and 
fiancé, Leonard Labit, of Houma, Amanda Ketcher of Fayetteville, Ark., Emily 
Griffin and Randi LeBoeuf of Houma; one brother, Essie Naquin Jr. of Houma; one 
sister, Lisa Takewell and husband, Douglas, of Houma; one grandchild, Erin 
LeBoeuf; one niece, Courtney Hutcherson; and one nephew, Ryan Hutcherson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Columbus and Odessa 
Griffin; his maternal grandparents, Simon and Nettie Pitre; and one brother-in-
law, Rodney Hutcherson.

He was a truck driver with Talens Marine and Fuel.

He was a dedicated truck driver for more than 30 years, a very hard worker and a 
dedicated father.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
