Cynthia Snowden

Cynthia Marie Snowden, a native and resident of New Orleans, died Aug. 30 as a 
result of Hurricane Katrina.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Geisler Funeral Home in Hammond 
with burial at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond.

She is survived by her daughter Aline Snowden; parents, Loraine Bennett Lange of 
Albuquerque, N.M. and Ludie Snowden of Bridge City; brothers Maurice Snowden of 
Albuquereue, Leslie Snowden of Meridian, Miss., and Joseph Lange of Flagstaff, 
Ark.; sisters Joy-Ann File of Lancaster, Calif., Julia Snowden of Albuquerque 
and Valarie Lange of Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Leslie Wilson Bennett and 
Alta Suarez and paternal grandparents, John Franklin Snowden and Leonile Rome 
Snowden.

Geisler Funeral Home of Hammond is in charge of arrangements.
