Gladys Woods						{photo)

Gladys Toussaint Woods, 88, a native and resident of Napoleonville died at 5:30 a.m. 
Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at New Mount Carmel Baptist Church in 
Labadieville. A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial 
at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters Lillie B. Davis, Delores Johnson and Brenda Johnson, all of 
Napoleonville; sons Alex and Edmond Woods of Augusta, Ga., Leroy Woods Sr. of New 
Orleans, Fleming Woods of Thibodaux, and Edward, Leroy and Rinel Woods of 
Napoleonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Alex Woods Jr.; parents, Edward 
Vernall Joseph and Beatrice Martin; and adopted parents, Alice and Joseph Toussaint.

She was a member of New Mount Carmel Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. 
Her hobbies included cooking and baking.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
