James "Jimmy" Luke Adams, 63, a native of New Orleans and resident of Lockport, died at 2 a.m. Oct. 21, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Holy Savoir 
Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie Orgeron Adams; sons Allen and Robert 
Adams; brothers Junior, Whitney, Michael and Harry Adams; sisters Marylee 
Plaisance, Clarabelle Babin, Mildred Guidroz, Joyce Vaughn and Geraldine 
Addison; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fortune and Ida Adams; brothers Irvin, 
Carlton, Gerald, Herbert and Charles Adams; and sisters Marie Walker, Cynthia 
Gros, Ann Adams and Shirley Adams.

He was a parishioner of Holy Savoir Church.

Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
