Jane Hitt

Jane Chauvin Hitt, 74, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:55 p.m. Oct. 
6, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Chauvin 
Funeral Home in Houma. A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
the funeral home, with burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Estelle Lapeyrouse Chauvin of Houma; son Phil 
Hitt of Houma; daughters Ginger Hitt Doucet of New Orleans, B.J. Boudreaux and 
Bobbie Chauvin of Houma; sister Claire Brien of Houma; four grandchildren; and 
one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wilson Hitt; and father, 
Clarence "Peco" Chauvin.

She was a homemaker.

Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
