Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. She is survived by seven sons, Davis J. Labit of Florida, Ralph J. Labit and wife, Diane, of Bayou Blue, Roy J. Labit and wife, Elaine, of Arkansas, Francis J. Labit and wife, Olivia, of Houma, Joseph J. Labit and wife, Gail, of Bayou Blue, Philip J. Labit and wife, Arlene, of Houma, and Larry P. Labit and wife, Patty, of Tennessee; one daughter, Betty Labit Steele of Houma; three brothers, Paul DuBois, Louis DuBois and LeRoy DuBois of Houma; one sister, Theresa Authement of Chauvin; 41 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon P. Labit; her second husband, Lawrence J. Breaux; her parents, Adam DuBois and Emelia Trahan DuBois; two sons, Leon "Jr." Labit and Johnny Labit; one daughter, Gloria Labit Gaston; three grandchildren, Michael Lajaunie, John Labit and Randy Labit; one brother, Davis DuBois; and three sisters, Elda Falgout, Merceline Bergeron and Aline Duplantis. She was a homemaker.
